Summary

Chemical investigation of the seeds of Zizyphus jujuba Mill. var. spinosa Hu led to the isolation and structural elucidation of betulinic acid, 2-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzoic acid glucosyl ester and uridine, together with five flavone-C-glycosides. Their structures were characterized on the basis of MS, NMR spectroscopic data and comparison with reported data.
