Summary
Two flavonoids were isolated and structurally elucidated from Vietnamese Aglaia oligophylla. Their structures were identified as 4´,5,7-trimethoxydihydroflavonol (1) and 4´,5,7-Tri-O-methyl-kaempferol(2). Compound 1: 4´,5,7-Trimethoxydihydro-flavonol was found to have antimicrobial activity while compound 2: 4´,5,7-Tri-O-methyl-kaempferol showed antioxidant effect.
