Summary

Phytochemical studies on the leaves of Fissistigma chloroneurum (Hand-Mazz) Tsiang collected in Vietnam, yielded three compounds, stearic acid (octadecanoic acid, 1), geranylfarnesol (2) as well as  sitosterol (stigmast-5-ene-3-ol, 3a) and stigmasterol (stigmast-5,22-diene-3-ol, 3b). The structures of the isolated compounds were determined by mass, NMR spectroscopic methods and comparison of those spectral data with published data.
