Studies on Experimental Acute Anti-Inflammatory Effect of Premna corymbosa (Burm.f.) Rottl. exWilld. in rats

The leaves ofPremna corymbosa (Burm.f.) Rottl. ex Willd. given to rats in doses of 12g and 18g per kg body weight exhibited acute anti-inflammatory effect through decreasing exudation volume, protein level and leukocyte count of exsudation as compared with the control group. Anti-inflammatory effect in exudate in the experimental model of peritoneal effusion.
