Summary

Three flavonoid glycosides, vitexin, vitexin 2"-O-glucopyranoside, 3-O-methyl quercetin 3-O-a-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1®6)-b-D-glucopyranoside, together with two  phenylpropane derivatives, meridinol, lyoniresinol, have been isolated from the methanolic extract of Lasia spinosa L. (Araceae). The structures of these compounds were elucidated by spectroscopic methods.
