The Results of Survey on Medicinal Plants of Dao Ethnic Group in

Ta Phin Commune, Sa Pa District, Lao Cai Province

The uses about medicinal plants of Dao ethnic group in Ta Phin commune are rich. The results of survey show that 208 plant species are used medicinally for the treatment of 10 groups of diseases, particularly for sauna, arthritis, digestive and respiratory disorders. Among them, 13 species are threatened to be destroyed and require conservation in Vietnam, such as Paris sp., Codonopsis javanica, Fallopia multiflora, Polygonatum kingianum, Acanthopanax trifoliatus…
