Studying Acute Toxicity and Anti-Inflammatory [S1] Effect

of Aqueous Extract from the Aerial Part of Bidens pilosa L.

Study on acute toxicity and anti-inflammatory effect of aqueous extract from [S2] the aerial  parts ofBidens pilosa L.,. The extract showed acute anti-inflammatory effects on  inflammatory model caused by carrageenan and formalin in rats. Moreover, the extract showed chronic anti-inflammatory effects on inflammatory model caused by carrageenan-soaked amiant fibers in mice. The extract did not show oral acute toxicity  at the maximal dose of 160 g/kg body weight.
