Study on Chemical Constituents of Canarium benalense Roxb. (Burseraceae)

Two compounds, ent-isolariciresinol-9’-β-D-xylopyranoside (BCE2) and ellagic acid 3,3′,4-trimethoxy 4′-O-a-L-rhamnopyranoside (BCE3), were isolated from ethyl acetate extract of Canarium bengalense Roxb. (Burseraceae). Their structures were determined by analysis of their spectroscopic ¹H-NMR, ¹³C-NMR and MS data.
