Isolation and Structural Determination of Alkaloid from Stephania pierrei

From the tubers of Stephania pierrei, bisbenzylisoquinoline alcaloid cepharanthine was isolated. Its structure was identified by spectroscopic analysis. This is the  fisrt report of the full spectral data of cepharanthine.
