Lignans from Ehretia longiflora Champ., Boraginaceae
From the methanol extract of the stem barks of Ehretia longiflora Champ. two lignans (1-2) were isolated. Their chemical structures were identified as (+)-lyoniresinol (1), and (+)-lyoniresinol 3a-O-b-D-glucopyranoside (2) by combination of 1D-, 2D-NMR, and ESI-MS techniques in comparison with the literature. Compound 1 and 2 was isolated for the first time from Ehretia longiflora.
