Isolation and Identification Chemical Structures of Taxoids from the Leaf of Taxus walliciana Zucc. Cultivated in Dalat
A phytochemical study on the leaves of Taxus wallichiana Zucc by repeated column chromatography resulted in the isolation of four taxoids (T1-T4). The structures of isolates were identified as taxuspine F, 19-hydroxy baccatin III , baccatin III, and 10-deacetyl baccatin III, respectively, on the basis of spectroscopic analysis. This is the first report on the existence of baccatin III from the plant T. wallichiana cultivated in Vietnam.
