Study on Phytomorphology and Chemical Composition  of Adenosma hirsuta (Miq)

Kurz. Collected in Kontum - Vietnam

Study on morphological characteristic of Adenosma species collected in Kontum resulted in identification of scientific name as Adenosma hirsuta (Miq) Kurz. Essential oil content of arial parts of this plant was 0.67% and its major composition was analyzed using GC/MS method as a-fenchone (46.78%), DL-limonene (35.9%), D-fechyl alcohol (3.23%). The total polyphenol content of arial parts of this plant was measured as 1.08% calculated according to galic acid.
