Study of the Acute Toxicity in Mice and the Effect of SP3 Powder Extracted from Ageratum conyzoides L. on General Status and Hematology in Rabbits
The acute toxicity and the influence of SP3 powder extracted from Ageratum conyzoides L were studied on the general status and on hematology in rabbits. The results showed that, the orally given LD50 of SP3 in mice was 8.44 g/kg. SP3 failed to influence significantly the general status, the body weight and some hematological parameters such as the count of red blood cells, the concentration of hemoglobin and the count of white blood cells.
