Summary

Triterpenes from the Leaves of Leea rubra Blume ex Spreng

Three triterpenes (1-3) were isolated from the ethanol extract of the leaves of Leea rubra Blume ex Spreng. They were identified as ursolic acid (1), oleanolic acid (2), maslinic acid (3) by spectral analyses as well as comparison to data in the literature. This is the first report of compound 3 from  Leea genus.
