Four flavonoids were isolated from the leaves of Carica papaya as kaempferol-3-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→6)-α-L-rhamnopyranoside (1), quercetin 3-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1→6)-β-D-glucopyranoside (2), kaempferol 3-O-(2″,6″-di-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl)-β-D-glucopyranoside) (3), and quercetin 3-O-(2″,6″-di-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl)-β-D-glucopyranoside (4). These flavonoids are described for the first from C.papaya in Vietnam.
