Summary
Chemical Constituents from Propolis of Stingless Bee Lisotrigona cacciae Collected in Vinh Long Province
Propolis is a resinous bee product that possesses a wide range of bioactivities such as anti-microbial, anti-viral, anti-inflammatory, anti-ulcer, and anti-cancer activity. From propolis of Lisotriogona cacciae stingless bee collected in Vinh Long province, eight compounds were isolated and identified as cycloartenone, mangiferolic acid, 27-hydroxymangiferolic acid, 27-hydroxymangiferonic acid, (+)-pinoresinol, (+)-medioresinol, (-)-matairesinol and naringenin.
