Summary

Chemical Constituents from a Marine-Derived Actinomycete Micromonospora aurantiaca G657

Seven compounds astellolide A (1), cyclopiazonic acid (2), cyclopiamide F (3), 5,6-epoxyergosterol (4), 3-indolecarbadehyde (5), 2'-deoxythymidine (6) and uridine (7) were isolated and characterized from the culture broth of the marine-derived Micromonospora aurantiaca G657 strain, which was isolated from the sponge sample collected at Van Phong, Khanh Hoa, Vietnam. Their structures were determined by analyses of mass spectroscopy (MS), nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR) and comparison with the reference data. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report of the isolation of astellolide A (1), cyclopiazonic acid (2), cyclopiamide F (3) from Micromonospora aurantiaca.

Keywords: Micromonospora aurantiaca, Indole-tetramic Acid alkaloid, Drimane-type sesquiterpene, Pyrimidine nucleoside.
