Summary

Effect of Extraction Conditions on Measured Total Polyphenol Contents and Antioxidant Activity

of Jasminum subtriplinerve Blume in Quang Tri Province

The objectives of this study were to determine best conditions for the extraction of phenolic compounds as well as antioxidant potential from branches and leaves of Jasminum subtriplinerve Blume in Quang Tri province. Study results indicated that high extraction yield was obtained by using 50% aqueous ethanol as solvent, time of extraction was 50 minutes, temperature of extraction was 50oC and ratio between material and extracting solvent was 1/30 (g/mL).
