FLAVONOIDS FROM AERIAL PARTS OF POLYGONUM MINUS HUDS.

Summary

flavonoids from Aerial Parts of Polygonum minus Huds.

The report described the first isolation of six flavonoids (quercetin (1), quercitrin (2), guaijaverin (3), isoquercitrin (4), hyperoside (5), miquelianin (6)) from Polygonum minus collected in southern Vietnam. Their isolations were firstly fractionated by column chromatography on silica gel and secondly performed by preparative HPLC. The chemical structures of these flavonoids were confirmed by spectroscopic analysis (MS, 1H- and 13C-NMR). Therein, guaijaverin, miquelianin, or even quercitrin could be used as marker compound.
