Summary
Flavonoids from the Aerial Part of Streblus ilicifolius (Vidal) Corner, Moraceae
Streblus ilicifolius (Vidal) Corner (Moracae) has been used in traditional medicine in Vietnam for the treatment of inflammation and pimple. From the ethyl acetate fraction of the aerial part of Streblus ilicifolius, eight compounds were isolated and identified as vincetoxicoside B (1), afzelin (2), quercitrin (3), vitexin (4), quercetin (5), kaempferitrin (6), quercetin 3,7-O-α-L-dirhamnopyranoside (7), and saponarin (8). The structures of 1-8 were elucidated by spectroscopic methods (MS, 1D, and 2D NMR).
Keywords: Streblus ilicifolius, Moraceae, Flavonoid, Quercetin.
