Summary
Hoya verticillata (Vahl) G. Don - A New Record of Medicinal Plant Species for Vietnam
Though survey of medicial plant resources in Bung Goi village, Cua Duong commune, Phu Quoc district, Kien Giang province, Hoya verticillata (Vahl) G. Don was recorded as a new species in flora of Vietnam. Hoya verticillata (Vahl) G. Don was characterized by sepals ovate, equal in length of shorter than corolla tubes; leaves relatively narrow, 1.8 - 3.8 cm wide, base cuneate. Littoral plants. A full description with a colour plate and notes on the variability in morphology, distribution, phenology and uses of this species are given.
