Summary

Mahonia retinervis P.G. Xiao & Y.S. Wang (Berberidaceae),

a Newly Recorded Medicinal Plant Species for the Flora of Vietnam

Mahonia retinervis P.G. Xiao & Y.S. Wang (Berberidaceae family), a species is previously only known from the type collection from Masan, Guangxi province and Yunnan province, China, is newly recorded from three locations in Ha Giang province, Vietnam. Specimens from Ha Giang province were deposited in HN (Herbarium, Institute of Ecology and Biology Resources, Hanoi, Vietnam): GSAD-26, HAL-840(2), HAL-8488 and in HNPM (Herbarium of National Institute of Medicinal Materials, Vietnam): 4544-A, 4544-B, 4544-C, 1541-A, 1541-B, 1541-C.
