Nghiên cứu ảnh hưởng của thuốc sốt rét phối hợp piperaquin – dihydroartemisinin do Việt Nam sản xuất trên phản xạ có điều kiện ở chuột cống trắng

Summary

Study of Influences of the Fixed Combined Antimalarial Drug Piperaquine - Dihydroartemisinin in Rats’ Conditional Reflexes

This study was conducted at the Department of Pharmacology and Biochemistry, Institute of Medicinal Materials, between February and April, 2006. The influences of the fixed combined antimalarial drug (320 mg piperaquine phosphate (PQP) and 40 mg dihydroartemisinin (DHA), with PQP produced firstly in Vietnam) in rats’ conditional reflexes were investigated at the two oral doses of 100 and 150 mg/kg per day for all consecutive study days. The results showed that at these two doses, the combined drug increased the durations of reflex apprenticeship, decreased the avoidance courses and increased the latent period of stimuli. However, these indices did not change significantly among the control and study groups (P > 0.05).

PQP - DHA did not affect significantly reflex apprenticeship and extinguishment progresses at the two doses 100 and 150 mg/kg per day for all consecutive study days.

Key words:Piperaquine, dihydroartemisinin, fixed combined antimalarial drug, conditional reflex, reflex apprenticeship, reflex extinguishment, avoidance courses.
