Extracts of sample I and II increase intestinal peristalsis of isolated intestines of rabbits, while extract of sample III is inactive in this experiment.
Extracts of sample I and II increase biliary secretion in mice. Sample II is more effective than sample I.
Extract of sample III has the tranquillizing effect in the experiment of spontaneous motor activity in mice, while samples I and II are inactive.
Cassia tora seeds can be processed into three products that have different pharmalogical effects.
