From the stem bark of Holarrhena antidysenterica Wall. (= H.pubescens Wall ex G. D ) in Chi Linh ( Hai Duong ) two fine substances were isolated. On the base of m.p.UV, IR, Ms, ¹H-NMR, ¹³C-NMR, DEPT, HMQC, HMBC analyses they were identified as conessin and norconessine.
