Summary
Lignan Derivatives from the Stem Bark of Rhizophora apiculata Blume
Using chromatographic separations, eight lignan compounds (1-8), were isolated from an ethyl acetate extract of Rhizophora apiculata Blume stem bark. Their structures were elucidated to be ligballinol (1), (+)-pinoresinol (2), lyciumin (3), salicifoliol (4), (-)-secoisolariciresinol (5), polystachyol (6), isolariciresinol (7), and lyoniside (8) by comprehensive analysis of spectroscopic data (1D, 2D NMR, and mass data) as well as comparison with reported kinds of literatures.
Keywords. Rhizophora apiculata, Rhizophoraceae, Lignan.
