Summary
Effect of Plant Distances and Bed Heights on the Growth and Productivity, Active Compound Atractylenolide III of Atractylodes macrocephala Koidz. at Tam Dao - Vinh Phuc
The planting distance 20 cm x 20 cm can give the highest yield of 3000 kg/ha, and the planting distance 40 cm x 20 cm can give the lowest yield of 1707 kg/ha. The height of the bed affects on the factor contributing to the yield and productivity of Atractylodes macrocephala. For formula 1 with the bed of 0 cm, we can get the roots which are bigger in diameter and shorter in length. The lowest individual yield 13.27 g per plant and actual revenue yield reached 2329 kg/ha. The percentage of atractylenolide III is 0.034 % which is lower than that when planted on the bed. The formula inducing the highest levels of productivity and atractylenolid III percentage was formula 3 with the bed height of 20 cm (3087 kg/ha, actractylenolide III is 0.0507 %)
