Summary
Isolation of Some Bioactive Components from Rubia cordifolia
Two compounds including 2-methylanthracene-9,10-dione (1) and ursolic acid (2) were isolated from Rubia cordifolia. Compound 1 inhibited NF-kB activation with IC50 value of 15.7 mM while compound 2 also exhibited inhibitory effect with IC50 value of 2.7 mM.
