Isolation, Identification of Glycosid Derivative in Codonopsis javanica (Bl.) Hook.f. 

By various chromatography methods (IR, UV, EI-MS), a derivative glycosid was isolated from the n- butanol extract of radix Codonopsis. Its structure was determined to be  Stigmasta-7, 25 dien-3ol. This compound was first isolated from Codonopsis javanica (Bl.) Hook.f. harvest in VietNam.
