Pharmacologycal Effect of Silymarin Extracted from Introduced Milk Thistle Fruits (Silibum marianum L.)

The extract prepared from milk thistle fruits (Silybum marianum (L.) Gaertn.)  has been subjected for pharmacological study. The results showed that the extract had antiinflamatory, hepatoprotective and choleretic activity.
