Chemical Composition of Essential Oil of Cyperus rotundus L. from Nghe An

The volatile oil of bulb of  Cyperus rotundus L. from Nghe An has been studied by combination of GC and GC/MS. There are 49 components were detected, in which, 18 have been respectively identified. The main components are a-cyperon (14.5%), cyperene (7.8%), caryophyllenocide (6.5%), b- selinene (6.3%).
