\n\tSummary
\n\tMicropropagation of Ehretia asperula Zoll.&Mor.
\n\tShoot tips were cultured on Murashige and Skoog (MS) basal medium containing 0.6% agar, 3% commercial sugar, and supplemented with BAP (6-Benzylaminopurine) or Kinetin at concentrations of 0.1 - 0.5 mg/L. The medium supplemented with 0.3 mg/l BAP or 0.5 mg/L Kinetin were most suitable for shoot induction. The effects of combinations of α-NAA and BAP or Kn were also studied. Shoots regenerated of multiple shoots were further elongated on the MS media containing 0.01 - 0.1 mg/ L indole-3-butyric acid (IBA) or α-naphthaleneacetic acid (NAA). Rooted plantlets were then transferred to soil in a green house.
