\n\tStudy on Standardization of Anti-Hepatitis and Anti-Cirrhosis Hypatin from Leaves of        Hypericum patulum Thunb. ex Murray 

\n\tThe anti-hepatitis and anti-cirrhosis film coated tablets Hypatin formulated from  total flavonoid  fraction of Hypericum patulum Thunb. ex Murray (HP) have been studied on standardization in accordance with Vietnam pharmacopoea. The most important parameters established for the house-standard of Hypatin tablet containing 0,17g HP total flavonoid  fraction are:

\n\t- Quantitative test is carried out by thin layer chomatography with astilbin as a flavonoid marker compound.

\n\t- Assay: Qualitative determination of total flavonoid in Hypatin tablet is carried out by ultra - violet spectroscopy. The content of total flavonoid has been calculated as astilbin working standard: not less than 0,05 g/tablet (as overage weight of tablet).
