\n\t\tPeroxydase and free sulfhydryl group (-SH) levels in mouse livers were determined at days 1st, 7th, 15th and 30th after mice was empoisoned by dichlorodiethyl sulfide (HD) with single dose of 1LD50 by percutaneous route. Our results showed that, at the days 7th, 15th and 30th after acute intoxication, peroxydase activity and -SH group concent in murine livers were significantly lower than those of the control group (p < 0,05); they werelowest at the day 7th (redution 32.2% and 39.5% compared to control, respectively). Treatment with sodium thiosulfate alone increased considerably the -SH content but only at the days 7th and 15th while with Naturenz combined for 30 days (120 mg/kg daily), all disorders in peroxydase activity and -SH levels were completely resolved throughout the period of investigation.
