\n\t\tSynthesis of Ester Derivatives from Quercetin and Determination of their Cytotoxic Activity

\n\t\tWe synthesized 3 ester derivatives of quercetin and determined their structure by using physical chemistry analyses (IR, LC-MS, 1H-NMR, ¹³C-NMR). The result in the study of cytotoxic activity of these products showed that 2 synthetic compounds exhibited cytotoxic activity higher than that of quercetin on HeLa, MCF-7, NCI-H460 tumor cells, while the third synthetic compound the was inactive.
