\n\tThe antidiabetic tablets DONG DO are preparated from Radix Rehmanniae glutinosae praeparata, Cortex Paeoniae suffruticosae, Rhizoma Coptidis, Fructus Lycii, Radix Ginseng Rubra, Fructus Schisandrae, Radix Ophiopogonis japonici, Radix Astragali membranacei, Poria, Radix Trichosanthis and Gypsum Fibrosum. The clinical trial showed that the tablets reduce the blood glucose (p<0,01), HbA1c (p<0,01) and total cholesterol (p<0,05) in patients after 3 months of treatment. The product has no side - effect.
