Summary

Sterol of the Taxillus chinensis (DC) Dans. in Gossampinus malabarica (D.C) Merr.

By various chromatography methods, (24S)-24-Ethylcholesta-5,22(E)-25-trien-3β-ol and β-sitosterol were isolated from the ethanolic extract of Taxillus chinensis (DC) Dans. Its chemical structure were elucidated by spectroscopic methods including ESI-Mas, ¹H-NMR, ¹³C-NMR, DEPT, HMBC, HSQC spectra. This is the first report of  this compounds from the Taxillus chinensis (DC) Dans.
