Study on Collecting and Processing Methods of Fructus Illicii veri
“The aim of this study is to study on traditional collecting and processing methods of Fructus Illicii veri in order to select a beneficial one. The results demonstrated that Fructus Illicii veri should be harvested in autumn or/and winter, then materials (green origin in colour) were exhaustively dried by sunlight or over at 50-60 oC until getting brown colour. Moreover, the contents of shikimic acid as well as essential oil in materials yielded by this procedure are also highest in comparison with other methods.
