Summary
Isolation of Some Bioactive Components from Perilla ocymoides
Two compounds including (2E,4E)-5-(benzo[d][1,3]dioxol-5-yl)-1-(piperidin-1-yl)penta-2,4-dien-1-one (1) and 3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)propenoic acid (2) were isolated from Perilla ocymoides. Compound 1 strongly inhibited NF-kB activation with IC50 value of 2.7 mM while compound 2 also exhibited inhibitory effect with IC50 value of 14.5 mM.
