Borreria alata (Aubl.) DC. (hay Spermacoce alata Aubl., Borreria latifolia K. Schum.) là cây phổ biến ở vùng nhiệt đới và cận nhiệt Châu Mỹ, Châu Phi, Châu Âu và Châu Á. Ở Việt Nam, cây Borreria alata chỉ được dùng làm cây phủ đất và chưa có nghiên cứu nào về thành phần hóa học cũng như hoạt tính sinh học. Từ dịch chiết cloroform của cây Borreria alata, chúng tôi đã phân lập được 3 hợp chất: Acid ursolic (1), acid oleanolic (2) và kaempferol (3). Cấu trúc của các hợp chất được xác định thông qua phổ ¹H-, ¹³C-NMR và so sánh với các tài liệu tham khảo.

Chemical Constituents of Chloroform Extract of Borreria alata (Aubl.) DC.

Borreria alata (Aubl.) DC. (or Spermacoce alata Aubl., Borreria latifolia K. Schum.) is a species widely distributed in tropical and subtropical regions around the world. In Vietnam, it is only planted for ground cover, and no chemical and biological studies on this plant have been reported so far. A phytochemical investigation of chloroform soluble extract of B. alata led to isolate three known compounds, including ursolic acid 1, oleanolic acid 2 and kaempferol 3. Their structures were identified by comparing their NMR data with those in literatures.
