\n\tSome Results of Investigation on Taxus wallichiana Zucc. in Lam Dong Province

\n\tTaxus wallichiana Zucc. are widely distributed outside of Vietnam, due to small population, it is estimated that only about 200 mature individuals are remained in Lam Dong province, Critically Endangered (CR.C1) is the status of this species in country based on assessment results. T. wallichiana Zucc. is a large tree which can be found in a small local population in primary closed evergreen tropical seasonal mixed or broad-leaved submontane forest on granit and other silicate-derived soil, ranged from 1290 m to 1732 m alt. Natural regeneration by seeds is sporadic, the growth of cuttings are rather better.
