\n\tPreliminary Study on the Chemical Constituents from the Leaves of

\n\tEmbelia undulata (Wall.) Mez, Myrsinaceae in Vietnam

\n\tThe first study on the phytochemistry of Embelia undulata (Wall.) Mez growing in Vietnam has been done. Three compounds: catechin (1), β-sitosterol (2) and β-sitosterol-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (3) were isolated from the ethyl acetate fraction of methanol extract of the leaves ofEmbelia undulata (Wall.) Mez. The structures of these compounds were determined by spectroscopic methods.
